PUNKS JUMP UP (kitsuné / London)
Punks Jump Up came together in London as a mere accident a few years back. Joe, a born & bred Londoner & David, a Swede just off the boat, had bumped into each other on several occasions, mainly occasions that had to do with music, style & anything visual that looked cool. They both come from a background of punk & dance music, street art, fashion & style all wrapped up in DIY ethos.
Punks Jump Up have always been into making music with a rough edge but with a good hook. PJU love the underground, cutting edge DIY scene but has never shied away from a good melody. They have proven this by remixing acts like Miike Snow (The PJU remix of their song Animal has now got more than one million plays on Youtube), Gossip, Crystal Castles, Lykke Li, Kele, Robyn, Tiga, Yelle, Peter Bjorn & John & now latest Ladytron and all turning their songs into very distinctive dance floor gems.
Blockhead was played all through the summer -10 by 2ManyDJ's as a part of their Under The Covers tour, with the distinctive animations that accompanied each track.
Punks Jump Up's constant traveling and gigging has made them a lot of friends and this shows well on the production of the forthcoming PJU album, it will feature guest appearances by artists like Chromeo, DVNO (of Justice DVNO fame), Black Kids, We Have Band & Men (ex Le Tigre).
2011 looks like to be a very promising year for PJU, first up the release of Blockhead EP at the end of january followed by a string of single releases, an album and then a live show.
PELUSSJE (flat frog/ Milan)

That carnage has the Sidechain Massacre's tag on it, and with their sharp techniques these 'luchadores de la console' will let you totally breathless. Warm up your muscles people, this will be a 'no rules' match. On the blood-red corner let me introduce you the Pelussje. On the other one, you. Ding! ding! ding! VAMOS A LA LUCHA!

GYM HELL (wozzup / napoli )
Here we present a special artist on the first day of our festival on the Iriedaily Main Stage: GYM HELL from Napoli! Get ready!
Gennaro Gimmelli was born in the '90, by the marriage between Moira Orfei and George Weah. Since he was a child instead of listening to his dad's vinyls, house music or playing with old dishes thrown in the garage, he used to play Football Manager, easy. In the '07 through the meeting with a school mate with the same passion, he set up the Herdsmans Cratch duo, now split up to take different ways. The music he prefers is a mix between paprika 90's and space mozzarella, actually not a kind of music, but his music sounds spicy, but not too soft, and as juicy as the dairy . He loves Basement Jaxx, The Neptunes, Armand Van Helden, Fare Soldi and the Portoguse current(Moullinex, Xinobi, Rockets...), Sabrina Salerno and above all Scuola Furano. Thanks to WOZZUP's guys, MADE IN NAPLES, he shared the stage with artist that he would never have imagined to play with, even in his best wet dream. He Already played with: Fucked From Above 1985, His Majesty Andre, NT89, Lazy Ants, Scuola Furano, LA Zebra, Leonardus, Fare Soldi,...
They're just some of the sacred cows whit whom he made people dance. Vote: 7,5, talented. Thanks to his musical culture and a careful research of tracks, his djset are among the most request.

"...In a world of traditional mainstream and overproduced hits, Mannequine brings a surprisingly new and refreshing approach to the World of Electronical, Independent and Dance-music, influenced by the likes of Fischerspooner, Digitalism, Cut Copy etc. Finding much in common in their versatile musical tastes and approaches, brought the two together and the vision of being one of the very few DJ Duos producing their own songs, was the key Motivation for this project. Having musical plans already years ago, Mannequine (consisting of DJ VLT and Musician CL-AUDIO) formed as a group in late 2010 in Zurich.Reworks of the Songs from canadian Metric “Collect Call” and “Sick Muse” were just the kickoff for Mannequine, with much more to come very soon.
